About Us

Who We Are

On the crisp and drizzly Easter morning of April 9th, 2023, our hearts were warmed by the fire of faith as we gathered beneath the sheltering embrace of a pavilion. The chill in the air and the gentle patter of rain served as a poignant backdrop to our inaugural worship as a new Global Methodist church.

With no name to call our own, no fixed location to claim, and no predetermined direction to follow, we stood together, united by a shared sense of purpose and divine calling. In the midst of uncertainty, we found solace in the knowledge that the Lord had provided us with this sacred space to gather and worship.

As we huddled beneath the protective canopy, the sound of raindrops mingled with the melody of our voices raised in prayer and praise. It was a humble yet profound testament to the grace and providence of our Creator—a reminder that even amidst the tempests of life, His love and guidance remain steadfast and unwavering.

In the absence of grandeur, we discovered the true essence of community—a fellowship forged not by lavish adornments or ornate edifices, but by the simple yet profound bonds of faith, love, and shared devotion.

As we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we were reminded of the transformative power of His love—a love that knows no bounds, transcends all barriers, and endures through every trial and tribulation.

In that sacred moment, gathered together beneath the sheltering arms of the pavilion, we found sanctuary—a sanctuary where all are welcomed, all are embraced, and all are invited to partake in the boundless grace of God.

And so, on that drizzly Easter morning, we embarked on a journey of faith—a journey guided by the promise of renewal, the hope of redemption, and the assurance that, come what may, the Lord would always provide for His children.

With hearts uplifted and spirits renewed, we embraced the divine mystery unfolding before us, trusting in the wisdom and providence of the One who had called us into being. And as we journeyed forth into the unknown, we did so with gratitude, humility, and a steadfast belief in the transformative power of God's boundless love.

Traditionalist Methodists

Since its inception, God’s Spirit has enlivened the Methodist movement. In the 1720s John and Charles Wesley and friends at Oxford University met together to deepen their Christian faith through daily, practical spiritual disciplines. Derided by others as a “new sect of Methodists” for their “methodical” ways of practicing the faith and holding one another accountable to it, the small group embraced the insult and persevered in their fellowship. And so they and the millions who followed after them have ever since been known as “the people called Methodists.”

Mission Statement

Our Mission | The Global Methodist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ and spread scriptural holiness across the globe.

In our worship, we desire to surrender to and be fully devoted to one God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are passionate about what is important to God.

Jesus calls those who follow Him to love God wholeheartedly and love their neighbors as themselves. Our desire is to demonstrate to the world the extravagant love of God in the person of Jesus Christ.

We have been entrusted with a lifesaving and transforming message that we must share with others. Our witness is bold, compelling and fearless. Our mission advances when individuals become disciples of Jesus Christ and join God’s mission to make more disciples.
